 The beach of the Leppä farm, where the cottage is situated, was one of the favourite places of the present landlord’s grandmother Justiina. On summer mornings she would walk along the beach calling her cows. Now the cottage that has been built on the place carries the name of old Justiina. The traditional square windows and red ochre paint carry our thoughts to the past, but inside the cottage, fully equipped, meets the demands of today’s vacationer and conference guest.
Take time for yourself, your family and/or friends. Come and visit Justiina cottage on Lake Kankari. The cottage sleeps 10 persons: 2 double bedrooms, with the remaining 6 beds in the attic. In summer you can bring a larger bunch of family or friends, as the exterior building sleeps 6 additional persons. Enjoy the hasteless days, nature and rest, or spend a holiday of activity. There are plenty of alternatives: swimming, sauna, beach volley, rowing, fishing on the lake or in the stream, hiking on the Käskyvuori route, hand-car riding on the museum railroad, peat sauna at Pyhäniemi. The winter offers excellent possibilities for ski-dooing (250 km of maintained trails), cross-country skiing, skating, ice fishing or rolling naked in the snow after a sauna bath.
The vicinity provides facilities for cliff climbing, summer cross-country skiing in the Jämi skiing tube, dog team rides, platform dances, ferry cruises, visits to the spa or hiking in national parks (the Seitseminen, Helvetinjärvi and Lauhanvuori national parks).
The firm has completed the national Service from the Heart training programme.
