 Jootila is an all-year holiday cottage, built in the old way and exuding an old-time ambience.
It easily accommodates groups of up to 10 persons. The wood-burning sauna offers steam for 5 – 6 people at a time. An indoor shower is available. All required modern conveniences, like a fully equipped kitchen, electricity, running water, fridge, freezer, stove, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine, outdoor grill, TV, video, dvd- and CD-player, radio, are standard equipment.
There is a rowing boat at your disposal; you may enjoy the purple sky, coloured by the setting sun. Or you may prefer to cook summer delicacies over the outdoor grill. A mild gust of wind, quiet, among friends, the glittering surface of the lake – great, eh?
On winter mornings an old-time baking oven will spread its warmth throughout the cottage, the fire crackling and the frost making snowy statues of the trees outside the windows. A steaming cup of coffee, the warmth of a blanket and a good book – the perfect holiday atmosphere.
You attain a genuine holiday mood by heating the traditional wood-burning beach sauna, after the steams of which you take a refreshing swim in the lake.
At Jootila you will enjoy a relaxing holiday in a scenic rural setting, a short driving distance away from the services provided by the Pyhäniemi holiday village and the rush of the Kihniö trout rapids.

110 km north-west of Tampere, Kankarinjärvi 30m (length 7 km, width 2.5 km), firm sand bottom, own boat. Board/timber building 1959, refurbished in 2000. Ground floor: bedroom (2beds), kitchen, living room, hall, dressing-room, washing-room, sauna, open-air veranda. Upstairs: Living-room, bedroom (2 beds) 2 alcoves with 2 extra beds each, balcony. Also a beach sauna with electric light, water pump.
